The American Unfiltered Podcast / Episode No. 5 - Attorney Bryan Sullivan

On lawyering, the practice of law, representing high-profile clients, Lively / Baldoni and why Bryan doesn't call himself an "entertainment lawyer"

Bryan Sullivan is a colleague of mine at the Los Angeles-based law firm Early Sullivan Wright Gizer & McRae. For years, Bryan has represented high-profile clients in an array of situations we’ve all read and heard about. He’s had an impressive career and has a hard-earned reputation as one of the country’s go-to, preeminent attorneys for an impressive group of A-list clients. But don’t call him an “entertainment lawyer”; as I said early in our discussion, I’ve long admired Bryan’s attention to the nuts and bolts of law practice and his breadth of lawyering skills that go beyong just working with entertainment clients. Bryan and I talk about attorneys and their tactics good and bad, the Baldoni/Lively mess, and the profession and practice of law, and we even try to demystify a few things along the way and talk about NDAs, NILs, and other fancy terms. Thanks for listening!
