Today’s podcast episode is with a friend and fellow attorney, Stephen Stern. Aside from achieving great success as an attorney, over the past several years, Stephen has become a formidable and vocal advocate for Jewish people and issues impacting Israel. I have long believed that more poeple ought to hear from Stephen, since his writing and advocacy especially since October 7, 2023, have been excellent. Some examples are here (talking to teens about antisemitism); here (on the Iran nuclear deal); here (“Please do not change what you call me; I am a Jew”) and here (on antisemitism at UPenn).
Oddly enough, Stephen and I met as adversary counsel in a difficult Maryland case about 11 years ago and in spite of that managed to become friends. We talk about Stephen’s perspective as lawyer and father on Israel, campus antisemitism, and the state of public dialogue on Jewish issues.
Thanks for listening!
